CyberSlugger is an electronic trivia game designed for use on a personal computer that utilizes a Windows operating system. In it’s current configuration, the game consists of over 5000 separate multiple choice as well as True/False type questions formatted in either a 1 or 2 player version of a 9 inning baseball game. (game does support extra innings) . Full versions consist of 200 questions for each major league baseball team.

When designing the game, the intent was to maintain as much authenticity to a real baseball game as possible. This was achieved by incorporating audio files that provide play-by-play of the game, and scenarios such as double plays, sacrifices, and errors that occur at random when the game is played. This combined with the uncertainty on the players part as to whether the next hit will be a single, double, triple, or homerun, creates a game that is suspenseful, entertaining, and educational.
